WHO WE ARE
Network for Girl Child Development in Africa began in Nigeria, driven by a group of dedicated professionals who came together to address the pressing issues affecting girls across Africa. Through discussions and shared insights, it became clear that there was a significant need to create meaningful solutions to support and uplift girls who face barriers to education, personal development, and equality.
Fueled by a deep sense of humanity and compassion, our organization serves as a platform where the African girl child, often overlooked and underserved, can access opportunities to improve her life. We are committed to empowering girls by addressing critical challenges such as access to education, menstrual health, and combating harmful practices like teenage pregnancy, early marriage, and gender-based violence.
Our initiatives include sensitization programs aimed at raising awareness about these issues, promoting the importance of education, and fostering personal growth. Additionally, we provide scholarships to disadvantaged girls, ensuring they have the chance to pursue their educational dreams and create brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
We believe that every African girl has the right to education and the opportunity to thrive. Through collaboration with volunteers and a passionate network, we strive to make this vision a reality, empowering girls to achieve their full potential.
